Long Time No See

Wow... It's been like a year since I had my blog updated.  This time around I'm blogging from The Land Below The Wind... Sabah.  It had been four months since transferred back here to Sabah after eight years posted in Kuala Lumpur.  For now, I'm working here in Tuaran Hospital Library.  Haven't entirely doing the library task yet as we're still waiting for the new hospital building to start it's operation.  Soon be coming.  For now, I'm just doing any task as possible that can be done preparing for the new library.

The new Tuaran Hospital

Hospital... Yes, hospital do have library if you're wondering but it's services are limited to the staff only.  So, most the books will be medical related.  I might end up be a medical experts IF only i read the books of course.

Now, my day starts at 5thirty am as i need to be ready by six.fifteen to start my journey to work as it will takes approx. 40-45 minutes drive depending on the traffic.  I work eight to 5 but I need to go out early so that I can beat the needless and sleepy jammed.  But going back home will take an hour to reach as the traffic will busy during that time.

Yes, i know google map says thirty8 minutes drive :)
This will only happens if you're the only one on the road and all the lights happens to be green.

New workplace makes new environment as well as new colleagues.  As for now, everything going as easygoing.  It's a hospital so, seeing a lot of patients everyday, so as nurses :) and doctors too.  Working in a hospital is not bad at all given seeing some deaths and injuries though not in front of my eyes yet it is seen once in a while when i go to that "place".  Easy for me to check health related issues but i'm not taking advantages of anything, i'm just taking the opportunities that given working here.

I do miss my job back in the National Library.  The job as it gives my brain works differently and i might say creatively.  Not saying that i don't like it here, it's just i'm doing different job here.  Yes, it's confusing as i still work in a library.  It's a different kind of challenges as i didn't do any books previously.  So, i'm a baby here that needs to learn to crawl.  Lucky me that i had my assistant who had experiences doing as much as real library works.

With hope and hard work (finger cross) i will be able to do my library well.

:: decision | deciding | decisive | decided ::

for the past few months that i didn't post anything, many things i need to be decided.  well, for most people, it may be little matters but for me for sure it will somehow change my life. or i might say this in a shy way, it mostly on my financial lifestyle. :) but then again it is time for to change a bit of my spending pattern. hopefully this new way will show me the way on good financial discipline. finger crossed. here are the listing that change financially of mine transportation (rm5**), telecommunication (rm1**) and soon to be entertainment (rm60).  previously it was only rm300 for my little saving but then again this things will somehow let me oversee my total monthly usage of money. hoorey! maintenance oh maintenance...

p.s btw, happy birthday Vickie Gungang.  God Bless You pal. See you when i see you.

::. The Hill Of Broga .::

Saturday, September 29th, 2012.
Broga Hill.
6.30 am.
As dark as the night.

The Entrance. Well, we didn't saw it the time we arrived as it was very dark.  But you'll know when you've arrived.

More and more people climbing.  It's a good way of exercising.

The dawn.  Couldn't determine whether it was foggy morning or it's a hazy morning.

Up it goes and up we go.

Campers site.

First peak view from the camping site.

Up close at the first peak.

A great way to start your day.

Climbing to the 3rd peak.

Relaxing at high altitude.

Going for the highest peak.  Need a bit of queuing up as it need little skill to climb.

But we chose where less people use. Yeay.

First and second peak from the summit.

Conquered!!!

o
Vandalize or just a marking point.

At the top.

Third peak.

Climbing was not as hard as going down.  Need a good and trained calf.

Heaven when you reached at the bottom.  Coconut priced at RM5.00.

Broga Hill we've reached.

In a nutshell, it was a great experience for us. We shall be back again. Soon. And on that time around, we'll be a bit more prepared. 😁

... morib ...

gold coast morib as it is called...
so we went there to see what they have to offer...
quite disappointing i may say...
the lobby was full of flies...
though we have issue with the travel agency yet they didn't even have the urge to help us...
so, we end up getting our rooms at 6pm instead 2pm...
the room was not really fully furnished (we didn't have the 2 balcony chair)...
the only thing that was may be interesting was the theme park...
or may i say water park...
the air-conditioner was not working, luckily they installed a ceiling fan otherwise it will be a sweaty sleep...
so here are some photos that might interest you all...

crossroads...

the water park...

the beach...

the cendol stall... u might need to order 3 bowls...

::.. Cleaning Out The Building ..::

everybody needs job to pay the bill...
make it on the ground (the most offered jobs in the world)...
in the sky (limited but there are jobs up away in the sky)...
underground (yes, all the way down the earth)...
of all the jobs around the the world, i think this will be one of the dangerous job to be in...
hanging by the rope...

the building might not be a skyscraper but if you fall and land on any part of your body, you'll be a pancake...
lucky there's a lil' balcony to rest and wet the path...

life on a string it is... safety is very important...

just imagine if they were cleaning KLCC...

i think because of the height of the building that their not using the gondola but as i stated even at this height if you fall, just say your prayer...
